This is family gathering... Beginning with my grandparents, my parent
and my uncles and aunts to us as the youngest continual generation...
With each transport vehicles we convoyed calmly steadying our way...
A three days trip to make it worth and meaningful to all of us...

The journey took about 3 hours to reach our destination.... And it's takes
us into one of the most wildest road we ever encounter... The slippery
slope asphalt with all kind of vehicles rushing down and ascending
gives us as much nervous and excite all the way to the destined location.

The mountains getting clearer...

The wind getting colder and the trees become sharper...

The leaves getting bigger...

Watch out for minor accidents...

Alhamdulillah we finally reached our homestay after much effort...
It's getting colder and darker as dusk began to shown and we grab
our belongings and plan for tomorrow morning ahead...
It's time to hit sacks and cuddle after eaten our brought dinner as much
as I tag along with my cousins... We're all agitated for the next day...

Our homestay...

Boh Tea farm...
Ah yes!... Cold breeze morning tingles our anxiety to anticipated in this
lavishing highlander... After our breakfast and warm up our vehicles
we commenced to proceed for our first visit as we already planned...

What will be your refreshing morning life without this nourishing herb leaves?...
That we're ascertain gracing through the hillside captivated by the mountains
of leaves as far reach can see...
Be cautious that this is steepish land as the road narrowed
and angular shapes to drive in haste as cliffs all around the corners...

The view is simply extravagant that we're stalled for a while near the cliffside
as we relished ourselves by taking a bunch of photos before we move on...

Our convoy halted for some snapshots moments...

It's me blended with the greenness!

Me and Mom in happy cheers!

Some of the superb views...

It's Family Gathering youngs and olds...

After many absorbing delay we finally reach the centre point...
It's up on the hill as we've to walked to accomplish there...
It's mean a race between me and my cousins!
We buy a couple of goodies and have some refreshment while
enjoying our stay... The evening gives in for the day as we
headed down and back to our homestay...

It's up on the hill!

Race ya to the top!

I'm lose to my mom!... Oh well...

Strawberry farms...
The next morning were even tingling!... This is as they say the trademark of
this highplaces... The sweet fleshy red fruit of Strawberry!... There're many
farms here to visit and harbor... You can simply consumed here or pluck it
home by your choose... Beside the fresh veges and other fruits to harvest on...
Better tastes the fresh juicy choc strawberries if you can't had enough...

Other great getaway here is visited the cactus farm or tracking into small mountains...
But it's the green scenery and the fresh breathes air that we adored of...
Come here if you wanted a cleanse lungs and healthy environments...

Yummy delicious!...

Routes into near paradise...

Lata Iskandar Waterfall...
But for me the main attraction is always the water... The glorious natural stream
that fall on earth in nature ways... This is our last visit before we travel homes...
It's a fast cornered way down before we arrived there... You can't simply ignored
the views you encountered as it's lavishing of god's creations...
We parked nearside and before that browsed the shops merchandise present there...
There're many booths and stalls with varies kinds of snacks and traditional
crafts to purchase... I choosed the 'bird calling' flute...
It's kind of abstract anyway...

Yeah.. The views is outstanding...

I was wondering when do I get wet...

Again... Me and my mom...

Yeah... I was wondering do I get wet and shiver...

With my cousins in wetting moments...

Another day fall in and we already weary packs our owning and headed home...
It's a long way down and exhausting but we're all satisfied... Where's next?

THE PURE SLAUGHTERING...

Kuala Sanglang, Perlis Indera Kayangan

It was an eight hours travel by road... A four days trips that will
becharmed us with the living in village surrounded by paddy fields
and enchanted scenery... We're captivated!

Indeed we've come far away to relish this hearty visit...
We have been prepared for this journey for one main event...
For the pure slaughtering in favor of Hari Raya Qurbaan or Hajj...

Perlis Indera Kayangan... The smallest state of Malaysia's Peninsula.
A monarch rule by law with population estimated about 210,000.
The capital of Perlis is Kangar and the Royal capital is Arau.
Main productivity is sugar cane, agriculture, with rice, sugar, herbs and fruits.
Near tropical weather with rich soils produces some of finest fruits predominating.
Neighbouring northern border with Thailand region at Padang Besar as
main attraction for shopper looking for affordable and bargain items...
A calm and neat places to travel with much historical and religious to discover...

Here I am a day before the festive wandering off for this new kind of territory
in far away remote that is untypically as my own home...
It was truly magnificent observing all the green and nature hearing
all kinds of birds twitter, chicken cock-a-do and duckling quack...
Even the 'moo' sound from the cows appeal my attention...

I'm into the living of peoples and nature dominion calmness...
I was gentle and proud as still there is a places you can virtually called 'Eden'...
The becalm weather gentle breeze of winds perfected for the next sacred day...
We have a coupled of visited among the widely known places to end the day...

The view is simply marvel!

Some of the residents I encounter...

This mean machines were mean to plunder!

This is not the cavalry of war...

The day has come as early in the morning as we gather at one of the
neighbourhood for much anticipated event... With all the equipments
needed and a small prayer before the ceremony conducted...
Let the pictures bring the words...

The 'chosen one'...

The sacrificing begins...

I'm not gonna show you the detail...
But it's do involved a lot of blood!...

The butchered and chined meat into small pieces by then cooked or fried
rightaway and served the guests already invited helping along the function...
All the body parts of the slaughtering even the bones was not left wasted...
'Semangat Gotong-Royong' or collaborate each other bring this occasion
into great deal... The spirit of united , friendly social helping and living
in harmony... That was this festive is all about...

The second festive day not much different from the yesterday neat cuisine...
We tasted it all from meat soup and 'Sup tulang', fried meat, 'Sup Ekor'
even our jaws begin to cramp and our teeths cleaved from leftover chunk
meaning our delicacies put to a rest...
There was nothing but meat feast all day long...
The evening appear and our time here finally reach...
It's time to say good bye and forgive... 'Cheerio'

Our last snapshot before we return home...
